A post in the Nakusp Communicator can help for a moment, but it soon gets buried. A website gives you a more lasting way to promote your business, and it can also help simplify your day-to-day work so you have more time for what matters most.
I help Nakusp and area businesses build clean, simple websites that make it easy for people to learn what you do and book or buy from you.
If you don’t have a website, I can build one from the ground up. If you already have one, I can help make it work better.
Together, we’ll create something that feels like you, helps your business stand out, and is easy for your customers to use.
I bring a strong background in event management, eight years of experience running a brick-and-mortar business, and hands-on knowledge of selling both products and services in person and online. I also taught marketing classes at Steinberg College for a year.
You may have seen me at the vet clinic. I’m also a member of the Nakusp Trail Society and volunteer with PALS.

Basic website design $1000-1200
* Understanding your needs and recommending the most suitable platform and/or extra apps * 1 hour consultation on branding (style, voice, color palette, font choice) * Text logo if needed * Search for appropriate stock photography if needed * Up to 7 pages (Home page, About page, Contact page, Blog page, and other pages you may need) * Integration of social media links and/or other external platform you may be working with * 2 rounds of edits * 1 hour reviewing how the platform works

Each additional page needed

Additional round of edits $125
Minor round of edits. If more than 2 hours of edits is required. It will be $50 per additional hour.

Logo design $300
Outsourcing of the logo design. 2-3 concepts will be provided as well as ownership rights and appropriate formats
Extra cost to consider
- Domain name and hosting (usually around $35–$100/mth, depending on the platform)
- Photography
- Plugins or external apps to automate and streamline parts of your business
